Breaking the Silence provides teachers with resources and ideas about how to teach the subject holistically, accurately and truthfully.

Breaking the Silence is a joint initiative between UNESCO, Anti-Slavery International, the British Council and the Norwegian Agency for Development Co-operation (NORAD).

Slavery in the 21st Century is a themed section on the BBC website with a series of reports and articles about issues around modern slavery. It contains some discussions around themes which may not be suitable for yournger learners.

March of the Abolitionists tells the story of a modern campaign to remember those who suffered two hundred years ago.

Slave Britain documents the ordinary lives and everyday locations caught up in trafficking and calls for an end to this illegal 21st century trade.

Set All Free has been set up by Churches Together in England as a collaboration between those who are happy to work with a Christian ethos on the relevance of the bicentenary.
